A new bug which is known as USA300 is a strain of MRSA and is spreading rapidly in the UK due to the fact that its spreads from skin to skin and is able to survive on surfaces.

The bug causes large boils and could eventually eat away at lung tissue and could kill as a result. The bug is resistant to all forms of antibiotics and the reason why is because it has the ability to change the construction of their cell wall whenever it wants.

The bug is currently being analyzed as it is not a major problem at this present time but scientist are confident that they will find the solution to this bug because they have the chance to research it before it becomes a major problem.

The NHS trust in Essex has been questioned for their quality of care after the death of two pregnant women and a report is set to be published by the health watchdog.

One of the two women was meant to have a blood transfusion and this did not happen and then in the delay of making the decision of delivering the baby or not, they had left it too long and the women began to lose her breath and just to prove the health care quality was not one of a high standard it took 25 minutes for a cardiac arrest call to be made.

The other women that sadly died died because doctors were unable to spt signs of a ruptured womb that lead to the death of her and her baby.

Recently it was revealed that a new employment health scheme has been launched. The purpose of the scheme will be to ensure that employees are happy and healthy.

The employers will offer them various incentives, in exchange for them filling out a healthy lifestyle survey. If a survey reveals that one of the employees have prevailing health problems then they will be asked to work with a health advisor. If they accept, then they will be given some kind of bonus.

This is not just about health inside the workplace, but also outside. The employer will expect that the employee is living a healthy lifestyle, eating and drinking the right things. Only time will tell whether or not this will be successful.
